Broadway Street Development plans to build another affordable-apartment development near downtown St. Paul after seeing success with its first one, The Balsam on Broadway.

The second phase would include 122 units – though this number could change – with rents affordable to households making between 30% and 80% of the area median income, according to Michael Hudson, co-founder and vice president at St. Paul-based Broadway Street.
